It is reported that Shandong Weiqiao Aluminum company has announced its alumina plant will expect to put into production on March 18, according to the company said.
The aluminum project has designed an annual production capacity of 2 million tons of alumina, now it has completed phase 1 project with production capacity of 1 million tons, and plans to put into production on March 18.
The project has invested by the Shandong Weiqiao Aluminum company and Harry Indonesia company, share 60% and 40%, respectively.
Currently, Weiqiao has annual electrolytic aluminum capacity of 5.23 million tons, those for alumina annual production capacity of 10.5 million tons.
