Condat offers Condatub lubricants for hot and cold tube forming processes. Suitable for use on all metals, they include hot forming graphite and ceramics dispersions, drawing nonreactive and reactive soaps, pilger rolling and forming soluble lubricants, drawing neat oils, and corrosion inhibitors.
Condatub TFH neat oil is suitable for direct drawing on bare or precoated metal surfaces. The formulation of high performance-based oil and extreme-pressure additives performs in heavy-duty drawing operations while minimizing tool wear, the company reports. Different viscosity levels are available to respond to different deformation requirements; some formulations are designed to vanish during heat-treatment operations.
