Prima Power offers the Laser Genius 2-D fiber laser cutting system. According to the manufacturer, the system’s automation modules and CNC proprietary management help ensure accuracy in cutting and head positioning, while high-dynamic linear motors help increase productivity 15 percent compared to conventional drive systems.
Features include linear motors on the X and Y axes, a carbon fiber carriage, a synthetic granite frame, proprietary hardware and software for laser process control, and a 6-kW fiber laser.
The single-lens fiber cutting head features a safe impact protection system, high dynamic focal axis with 1.38-in. stroke, lens drawer with quick-alignment system, and protection glass drawer for easy inspection.
