National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), one of the Indian state-controlled mineral producers, had sold nearly 100% of its output in India, and iron ore demand was expected to be strong in the coming year.
This year, NMDC had shown a growth on their net profit with 30% because of the lowest cost during the since the third quarter of the fiscal year 2018, with around ₹1,500/ton, a year-on-year 20% decrease.
Moreover, since the global iron ore supply was scarce, NMDC would have more chips to raise the price.
