According to report, the chairman of Vietnam''s leading steelmaker Hoa Phat, Tran Dinh Long, was reportedly been off Forbes’ Billionaire list since the stock of the Hoa Phat dropped from the beginning of the year.
The drop of the Hoa Phat stock took down the chairman’s net worth below US$1 billion today.
Hoa Phat was founded in 1992 as a company manufacturing office equipment, steel pipes, and construction steel, and currently was seen as the largest steelmaker in the country.
Long had shares equivalent to more than 25% of chartered capital.
