Tata Steel commences ferro shots rake despatch from Kalinganagar plant-The 18th China(Guangzhou ) Int’l Casting product Exhibition

Avenue Mail reported that Tata Steel has started rake despatches of Tata Ferro Shots, a new product launched by its Kalinganagar plant in March this year. The first rake was flagged off on September 12 last. As a result of the despatches, Ferro Shots will be available all over India.
Tata Ferro Shots is Granulated Pig Iron solidified by cooling in water. The end use of Tata Ferro Shots is in electric arc furnaces, induction furnaces, cupolas, basic oxygen furnaces and foundries as a replacement of pig iron, scrap or DRI. Its inherent properties lead to better yield, higher productivity and lower energy cost. The process of manufacturing is environment friendly and safe.
