The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)) began on August 4th to review the domestic 40 metal mining industry, if they do not meet the environment protection standard, will suspend its operations, serious and even revoke a license to operate. It is expected to complete the review within one month. Next month will begin to review domestic non-metallic mining companies.
This review is a comprehensive check on mining companies, will examine whether they can in terms of technical and social requirements to meet the requirements. And said it would review the results to determine whether mining companies to continue to operate
