Maxxeon Inc., Cleveland, has designed a new ultraviolet (UV) inspection light for non-destructive testing (NDT).
The WorkStar 2003 is a cordless, portable tool for fluorescent magnetic particle and penetrant NDT. It has been designed for use by manufacturing, maintenance and quality control technicians in metalcasting and other major manufacturing industries. The WorkStar 2003 integrates a new UV inspection light with the Maxxeon’s WorkStar 2000. The new advanced UV LED light features a moveable head, a retractable hook, tripod mount capability and exceeds ASTM E2297 requirements.
