Australian scrap exports hit new high in Mar-The 20th China(Guangzhou) Die-casting, Foundry & Industry Furnace Exhibition

According to the statistics, the exports of Australian scrap totaled around 230,000 tons in March, up by 6.9% compared to the same month a year ago, which was also the highest level after June 2017.
In the first 3 months of this year, the total scrap exports reached around 490,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%, with an expected annual exports of 1.98 million tons. Among them, Vietnam was the largest destination, accounting for 23.1% with a volume of 110,000 tons roughly, a year-on-year hike of 31.2%.
