CNC Steel Fabricators Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Commercial Metals Co., Irving, Texas, has signed a definitive asset purchase agreement to acquire the steel fabrication business of Associated Steel Workers, Ltd. (ASW). Honolulu-based ASW''s steel fabrication business fabricates uncoated black reinforcing bar and related materials.
Commercial Metals Co. and its subsidiaries manufacture, recycle, and market metal products through a network including steel minimills, steel fabrication and processing plants, construction-related product warehouses, metal recycling facilities, and marketing and distribution offices.
