In China’s automobile part markets, there was always the monopoly of price for years. However, this phenomenon would be changed in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province.
As the largest manufacturing base of auto parts in Eastern China, Ningbo has fallen into the dilemma of over-capacity and over-storage. 40% of the auto parts produced could not be sold annually. Lately, authorized by Transport Committee of Ningbo Muicipality, Ningbo Automobile Maintenance & Repair Association and Ningbo Fastener Industry Association jointly proposed “the project of direct supply for repairable auto parts” in Ningbo City. Then, the direct supply center for repairable automobile parts is also under construction, which would save the cost of auto parts in a great degree by 30-40% due to the simplification of middle segment, while the quality of auto parts could be guaranteed by the traceability system and insurance company, etc.
