on behalf of China Fastener Industry, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products as well as the China Fastener Industry Association issued a Joint Declaration that supported WTO’s final decision of the EU’s anti-dumping against China’s certain iron or steel fasteners, which as well jointly appealed EU to the cancelation of anti-dumping measure against China’s certain fasteners.
On Monday afternoon (January 18), WTO Appellate Body released the Compliance Report on Chinese Challenge to EU Fastener Duties, which declared that the Chinese side won this appealing, while EU’s anti-dumping measure against China’s certain iron or steel fasteners violated the WTO trade rules.
The Joint Declaration delivered the warm welcome and affirmation of WTO’s ruling with a keen hope that EU could repeal the anti-dumping measures that violated the WTO rules. “If no revocation of the anti-dumping measures were adopted by EU, we would seek for help from the China Government to take further actions in this case.”
