Korea’s stainless steel cold-rolled market remains uncertainty in 2016-The 17th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

In 2015, Korea produced 1.18 million tons of stainless steel, an increase of 5% year on year. It estimated Korea’s stainless steel exported totaled 480,000 tons, an increase of more than 17% year on year.
However, the stainless steel cold rolled market has affected by LME nickel prices continues to fall in 2015, along with the stainless steel market continues to depression in long term.
Most of stainless steel producers have suffered the profitability losses for some reasons. It expects the stainless steel market is likely to downturn trend in this year.
