It’s reported that the Egyptian steelmaker Al-Ezz Dekheila Steel Co. (EZDK) announced to cut its prices for hot rolled coils (HRC) by around US$5/ton for January.
The company’s HRC price is prevailing at around US$604/ton, without a 10% value-added tax.
Market participants said that the current demand remained weak in Egypt.
