According to World Steel Association (worldsteel), the crude steel production by EU-28 countries rose slightly by 0.4% in August year-on-year.
Germany produced 3.133 million tons during the month, slightly down by 1.0% compared from 3.166 million tons in the same month last year.
Croatia produced around 5,000 tons in August but had a significant growth of 103.2% from 2,000 tons in the same month last year.
