South Korea to impose preliminary AD duties on Chinese galvanized wire-The 19th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

It was reported that South Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MOSF) announced on February 13th to impose the preliminary anti-dumping duties of 4.43~15.71% on galvanized wire imports from China.
Currently, South Korean market for galvanized wire was extremely small with around 100 billion won, while the galvanized wire imports from China accounted for 70% of the total.
Therefore, Korea Trade Commission held a meeting and recommended to the MOSF to impose the preliminary anti-dumping duties on December 21st last year.
The initial tariff was valid until June 13th, 2018. The MOSF would confirm the result of the final tariff implement in the first half of this year.
