Lee Spring has added 71 products to its line of die springs. The new items, available in music wire or chrome-silicon steel (OTCS) help reduce the gap between different standard lengths, with additional lengths of more than 6 in.
New lengths include 4, 5, 6, 7, 7.5, and 8 in., with eight different ODs to suit medium-, medium-heavy-, heavy-, and extra-heavy-duty loadings.
The standard die springs are shot-peened for extended life and preset to help prevent loss of length in service. Supplied with closed and ground ends to provide square seating with a large bearing surface, they are suitable for orientation either end up. The die springs are powder-coated for corrosion protection.
