United States wire rod prices rise further-2016 China(Guangzhou)Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

United States domestic wire rod prices continued to upward trend, and the steel market demand has improved further. Meanwhile, wire rod mills have announced to increase prices at US$50/short ton or US$55/ton, effect on May 1. However, there is no panic buying activities regarding in the prices increased.
Currently, US’s domestic spot prices are between US$520~540/short ton or US$ 573~595/ton, the ex-factory price.
