Reuters reported that the largest integrated copper producer in China, Jiangxi Copper and the Chilean miner Antofagasta Minerals agreed to a treatment and refining charges of USD 97.35 per ton and 9,735 cents pound for 2016
The TC / RC are to shipments of copper concentrate within the next year, and are 9 percent lower than the TC / RC in 2015 of USD 107 per ton and 10.7 cents per pound.
Sellers pay concentrate TC / RC smelters to convert concentrated in refined metal, deducting the charges of the sale price based on the values of copper on the London Metal Exchange.
