Basic Metals opens aluminium facility in Arizona-The 17th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Metal &Metallurgy Exhibition

Basic Metals Inc, an independently owned aluminium supplier, is to open a manufacturing and distribution centre in Goodyear, Arizona, later this month.
Mayor of Goodyear Georgia Lord said “We are pleased that Basic Metals has chosen Goodyear for its place of operations. As our manufacturing sector continues to grow, we will also see supply chains expand. That means more opportunity for economic growth.”
Kevin McAllister, chief financial officer at Basic Metals, said: “Goodyear was attractive because of its growth in the past decade; our large property will allow for future expansion. We have created many wonderful partnerships and relationships with customers in Arizona, while servicing them from our facility in Wisconsin. We wanted to take the next step and show our commitment to the markets we serve.”
The Wisconsin-based firm, which specialises in aluminium sheet, coil and circles, supplies its products to manufacturers, metal fabricators and metal spinners.
