US'' CPI Aerostructures, Inc. (CPI Aero) announced that it has successfully acquired Welding Metallurgy (WMI) from Air Industries Group. The company expected to integrate WMI business into its Edgewood headquarters in New York at the first quarter of 2019.
WMI mainly produced special welding products and components, large-size bends and integrated electronic components. Its major customers dedicated in defense and aerospace markets.
The acquisition will success a new expansion and opportunities increasing. In 2019, both revenue and earnings will grow significantly as expected.
To add WMI’s products and producing procedure will increase revenue growth and support CPI Aero expanding its products line. The final goal was to improve competitiveness of price offer and expand the profit of current projects.
