As of the week ended February 3rd, 2018, the production of US domestic crude steel was around 1.75 short tons, down by 0.2% from 1.75 million short tons in the same period a year ago. The capacity utilization was 75%, slightly dropping from 75.1% last year.
After the adjustment, as of February 3rd, 2018, the production of US crude steel totaled around 8.27 million short tons, down by 2.1% year on year. The capacity utilization was 73%.
