A growing numbers of Japanese iron and steel related companies are starting investment to Indonesia and increasing scale. Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal decided to start the joint production business for automobile steels, and Osaka steel made the final decision for the joint business for bar steels. Mitsubishi Steel decided to invest to local special bar steel maker. Business firms are increasing processing logistics system for steel sheet and wire rod.
