According to India Iron and Steel Department announced, to control the government infrastructure projects, compulsory purchase only India Bureau of standards (BIS) certification of steel products.
India Iron and Steel Department stressed that only used high quality steel certification for construction, and the second-largest steel producer did not have the technology to ensure quality and delivery management.
Therefore, both domestic and imports products need to be printed on a BIS certification marks, in order to sell them.
