EU steel imports from third countries increased to 24% in the first quarter, at the same time, domestic shipments dropped 1%. From 2015, the EU steel exports continued to decline. The first 4 months of this year.
EU steel exports to third countries dropped 19% year on year, especially slab exports fell 65%; rolled flat products down 10% year on year; long product exports dropped by 11% year on year; steel sheet dropped by 9% year on year.
