Spectro Analytical Instruments has introduced the seventh generation of its SPECTROMAXx arc/spark optical emission spectrometry (OES) metal analyzer.
The analyzer, which features an argon-saving sleep mode, uses lower volumes of argon than previous models. Depending on the configuration, consumption has been cut 18 to 60 percent, says the company. In addition, measurement time has been reduced 15 to 20 percent.
Proprietary iCAL calibration logic requires one sample and 5 min. for total measurement. ProMAXx software offers a simplified view, dedicated toolbar buttons, and application profiles tailored to user requirements.
