The world''s second-largest steel maker Japan Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd (NSSMC) has announced, the company has started its Japan Kamaishi factory produced wire of diameter less than or equal to 5.0mm, in order to meet the growing needs of small diameter wire, including for photovoltaic wafer wire saw cutting.
NSSMC said that the company current can produce with diameter of 3.6-5.0mm wire, can be applied to a wide range of steel grades, such as tire cord steel wire.
