Chinese hot-rolled coil prices have improved in December, those for hot-rolled coils with thickness of 4.75mm prices are at RMB2000/ton, the inventory of hot-rolled coil is about 2.0632 million tons, down by 191,600 tons month on month.
Market participants expected, due to the prices of cold-rolled coil increasing recently, resulting the production orders have fully booked so far. Therefore, Chinese January hot-rolled coil prices is expected to remain flat further.
