The world''s second-biggest steel maker Japan Nippon Steel, Sumitomo Metal Company NSSMC has announced that its new cold heading wire company, Nippon Steel cold-heading wire Suzhou (NSCH), has begun the production.
Meanwhile, the company also plans to extend the cold heading wire production capacity and processing system in China. The new plant began the construction in July 2014.
New company''s goal is expected to increase capacity to 42000 tons a year. In addition, the company is considered to introduce drawing equipment which can produce the diameter up to 40 mm, in order to meet the domestic demand.
