ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has launched two new portable wire feeders that are compatible with the Warrior 400i MV CC/CV and Warrior 500i power sources.
The Warrior® YardFeed 200 provides remote control of the voltage and wire feed speed at the feeder, including the ability to preset wire feed speed. It holds an 8-in.-dia. spool of wire and can run wire diameters from 0.023-in. solid wire to 1/16-in. flux-cored wires. Maximum permissible load is 365 amps at 60 percent duty cycle. The unit measures 23.4 by 8.5 by 12.8 in.
The MobileFeed 301AVS, a voltage-sensing feeder powered off the welding arc, works with any CV or CC welding power supply. It has a duty cycle of 450 amps at 60 percent, handles wire spools up to 12 in., and runs 0.023- to 5/64-in.-dia. wires (it comes from the factory with drive rolls for welding 0.045- to 1/16-in. wires). The unit measures 21 by 17 by 8 in.
