It is reported, after British Steel declared the permanent closure, the UK steel manufacturer will also sell its Scunthorpe plate mill.
British Steel mentioned, this move will help the Scunthorpe plate mill focus on the steel production and other core products, such as rail, wire, special section and building steel, etc. Also, it could be avoided the unemployment problem for the Scunthorpe plate mill.
