According to Sandvik, a Swedish High-tech engineering and steelmaking group, announced that its sub-subsidiary had signed an agreement to sell its welding wire operations to the global welding industry leader ESAB.
The agreement was announced on May 17th to complete the main steps of the welding wire and stainless steel wire divestment plan, which was expected to be completed within two months or four months.
Sandvik CEO said the divestment plan would enable companies to focus further on the core business in accordance with the strategy.
