It’s reported that the
Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron & Steel (Wisco) announced to cut its list
prices for steel flat products by RMB50/ton for December
deliveries.
After the adjustment, its prices for Q235 hot rolled coils
(HRC) with thickness of 5.5mm are at RMB3,690/ton; those of Q195 cold rolled
coils (CRC) with thickness of 1.0mn are at RMB4,220/ton, without 17%
VAT.
Industry sources said that most of the Chinese steel mills would cut
prices for December due to the current downturn.
