China’s Shagang to raise wire rod list prices for mid-Sep- The 19th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

China’s steelmaker Jiangsu Shagang Group has announced its price list in the domestic market for September. The company decided to hike its prices for wire rod by RMB50/ton for September; the prices of rebar remained flat for September.
After prices adjustment, the prices HRB400 rebar with thickness of 16-25mm are at RMB4,250/ton, remain unchanged; the prices of HPB300 carbon steel wire rod with diameter of 6.5mm are at RMB4,390/ton, up by RMB50/ton; the prices of HRP400 wire rod with diameter of 8-10mm are at RMB4,510/ton, up by RMB50/ton, the above prices include 17% VAT, effective on September 1st.
