According to Korea Iron and Steel Association data showed that South Korea''s hot dip galvanized plate production totaled 4.19 million tons in the first half of this year, increased by 4.8% compared with the same period of last year; while the sales totaled (including domestic and export) 4.16 million tons, increased by 2.5% compared with the same period of last year.
In the same time, South Korea’s hot dip galvanized steel plate imports accounted for nearly 20% of the total imports, increased by 2.8% compared with the same period of last year.
