South Korean April hot dip galvanized steel export remained weak, but the imports rose significantly, which reached the second largest imports in history.
According to the Korea Iron and Steel Association data showed that the export volume of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet in April was 13,300 tons, down by 10.8% compared with previous month, down by 6.5% compared with the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, the import volume was 115,453 tons, up by 2.5% compared with previous month, up by 52% compared with the same period of last year.
