Birmingham, Ala.-based U.S. Pipe and Foundry Co. has completed its acquisition of Metalfit Inc., Monterrey, Mexico. Metalfit manufactures waterworks fittings and industrial castings, and like U.S. Pipe, primarily serves the water and wastewater industries.
“With the addition of Metalfit, we can offer our customers a broader range of products and services from a more diversified footprint. I look forward to improved quality and customer service by sourcing our proprietary fittings from Metalfit’s modern manufacturing facility in Monterrey," said Paul Ciolino, CEO, U.S. Pipe.
