Caparo Drawn Products, the only UK based manufacturer of high quality drawn steel tube, has announced that it will be changing its name to Caparo Drawn Tubes. The company that specialises in the supply of cold drawn seamless and welded tubing will continue to operate from its site in West Bromwich and is aiming at increasing its market share in heat exchanger and boiler tubes, tubes for pressure applications, automotive, general application and special shaped tubes.
Caparo Drawn Tubes is built on 86 years of experience after Phoenix Steel Tubes, Durham Tubes and Newman Tipper Tubes were all merged into a single company. The business specialises in high quality products, which are manufactured from materials of certified origin, and has an unrivalled level of technical support and expertise that guarantee customers get steel tubing that matches their applications’ requirements. Alongside pipes and tubes of various grades and sizes (wall thickness and outside diameter), the business is also able to provide a number of additional post-production treatments and end finishes, including cutting, heat treatment, deburring, threading, and many others.

In addition to rebranding, Caparo Drawn Tubes has launched a new website, which provides customers with up-to-date information on the full range of steel tubes and grades, manufactured by the business. It also details the industries and typical applications of the products, additional tube manipulation options available, and the accreditations and standards that Caparo Drawn Tubes satisfies.
