Japan’s stainless steel exports decrease in Aug- The 19th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

According to the statistics from Japan''s Ministry of Finance in August 2017, Japan’s stainless steel exports totaled 75,110 tons, increased by 4.3% compared with 78,512 tons in July.
Among them, Japan’s stainless steel exports to Thailand dropped sharply by 33.8%; decreased by 18.9%, 18.5%, 13.9% to Taiwan, the United State and China separately compared with July 2017.
The average export price was at US$3,508/ton, increased by 3.9% compared with last month.
Furthermore, Japan’s special steel products, not included stainless steel, exports amounted to 547,924 tons, down by 8.4% compared with July; special steel products included stainless steel exports totaled 623,034 tons down by 7.9% compared with July 2017.
