It’s reported that the US
International Trade Commission (USITC) decided to continue the antidumping (AD)
duties of 45.35%~68.24% and countervailing (CVD)duties of 29.83%~620.08% on the
imports of circular welded carbon steel pipes from China.
The AD/CVD
duties on these products were imposed since July 22nd, 2008.
According
statistics released by the Global Trade Information Services, China’s welded
pipe exports with HS code of 730630 slumped by 99% from 2007’s 528,050 tons to
5,129 tons in the January-September period due to high AD and CVD
duties.
