The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced new anti-dumping margins on South Korea''s drill pipe imports last Tuesday.
The anti-dumping margin for Nexteel Co., Ltd, one of South Korea’s steel pipe manufacturers, was increased from 3.98% to 24.92%. Some traders thought that the dumping margins were too high.
The current question was that whether South Korea would submit a complaint to re-estimate the dumping margins. The US DOC has released the anti-dumping tax order on South Korea’s tube manufacturers with anti-dumping margins increasing to 6.19% from 2.53% in December 2015.
The source said, this new anti-dumping margin must have a certain impact on the tube market.
