Crude steel production in Kazakhstan from January to October has increased by 15.1% year on year, totaling around 3.7 million tons. However, the crude steel output totaled around 340,000 tons in October, around 5% less compared to the same month last year.
On November 7, ArcelorMittal''s Kazakhstan-based Temirtau steelworks has an explosion accident, which caused 7 workers death. After that, Kazakhstan''s government said they will enhance the inspection for all mining sections.
