Taiwanese order in foundry industry increases, demands for scrap go up-The 20th China(Guangzhou) Int’l Forging Industry Exhibition

It was reported that the demand for scrap in Taiwan domestic market turned into low-intense condition. The market frequently stopped receiving and reducing prices due to slow sales of finished products. However, the order for scrap demands was relatively increased in foundry industry for successive days. Meanwhile, there had more scrap merchants specialized in small foundry industry operation as much bigger room for profit rather than electric furnace factory.
The market participants revealed that the foundry had received a considerable amount of recent order especially among the special grades scraps with higher, more complicated requirements and the acceptance of scrap prices was extremely high and performed as demands was greater than the supply status.
