According to Iran Ministry of Industrial and Trade announced in the first eight months (March 20, 2016 – November 20), Iran exported over 6 million tons of crude steel and steel products. It expects to reach 9 million tons in 2017.
By 2025, Iran''s steel production capacity will reach an annual output of 55 million tons.
According to the World Steel Association data showed that Iran’s crude steel production was 13.21 million tons for first nine months, increased by 8% compared with the same period of last year.
